How Do You Review XM Radio Listings?
The 170 channels available on XM radio offer something for every listener. It can seem like a daunting task to find some of your favorite programming, but there are a few ways to make browsing channels easier. Different XM receivers have different options, but most players have at least some ways to review XM radio listings. Use the scan feature to browse through channels quickly. This feature is only found on some car systems and newer XM players. It allows you to hear 30-second samples from each station. You can quickly stop the scan if you hear a station you like, and the display will tell you the song, artist, and station information. Look through the programming guide that came with your XM receiver. The literature should at least list the music channels. The first 100 XM listings are for music stations and are generally grouped in genre intervals of 10.
