Unscrew all screws with a screwdriver. Lift off the piece of wood that is the seat of the chair. Spread out your upholstery fabric on a sturdy flat surface. Make sure that the “wrong” side of the fabric is facing up. Lay the seat of the chair upside down on the fabric. Trace the perimeter of the seat on the fabric with a marking pen.
