You can resurface any flat front kitchen cabinets to look like craftsman style kitchen cabinets. Craftsman style kitchen cabinets look like doors that have been frames out in four pieces of wood. There are no 45-degree angles to cut, the piece simple but up next to each other. Buy wood trim that is ½ inch thick and 3 inches wide. You will find this near the crown molding in the home improvement store. Unscrew the kitchen cabinet doors from the hinges and lay them out on a flat work table. Measure the height and width of the kitchen doors. Cut out 2 strips of wood to the same height for each door. Measure the width on your strips of flat wood. Subtract this number from the width of each door. Cut out the strips of horizontal wood slats to this size for each kitchen cabinet door. Run a bead of glue on one of the vertical strips of wood trim. Press it into place onto the left side of the door. Repeat this with the right trim on the door.
