How Do You Restore The Toshiba M45 Notebook?
If your Toshiba M45 series laptop is having problems because of spyware, viruses or a corrupt operating system, the computer can be restored to factory default settings, giving it what essentially is a clean, new operating system. The factory settings on an M45 can be restored with a set of recovery CDs or by using the “Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility” program in a hidden partition on the hard drive. The method for restoring an M45 will depend on the specific model. Shut down the Toshiba M45. Click on the “Start” button on the task bar. Click the “Shut Down” icon.
