Have a trim, to get rid of any split ends, as these will make your hair even more porous & dry. Then, don’t laugh, you need protein & eggs are a great source of this. Whisk a couple of eggs & massage into your head. Leave for about 20 minutes before washing out with water & a little intense conditioner. When you have washed it, leave it to dry naturally. do this again 2 days after. If your hair is still really bad 2 days after the second treatment, use a hot oil treatment. Try to stay away from gel also, as when this dries it can dry your hair out, a wax would be better to style your hair. Some shampoo’s, especially those that tend to strip the hair of the colour also dry the hair out more & will do more damage than good. Stick to shampoo’s with moisturising properties. Your hair may look not at it’s best as the colour is growing out, but in the long run you’ll have much healthier hair as a result. Damaging the new hair as it grows will just create a vicious circle.
