Sometimes downloading new programs and games to your computer can make the system unstable. This can result in damaged programs that no longer operate properly. You can use system restore on your computer to remove system changes to restore programs to their previous state. Go to the “Start” menu and click “Help and Support.” Click “Undo changes to your computer with System Restore” under “Pick a Task.” Activate the restore point from the “System Restore” screen and select “Restore my computer to an earlier time.” Choose a date to restore from in the “Select a Restore Point” screen and click “OK.” Go to the “Start” menu and click “Accessories” then double-click “System Tools.” Click on “System Restore” and select “Create a restore point” then click “Next.” Enter a name in “Restore point description” box and click “Create” to finish.
