Microsoft Outlook Express is a free email client that was bundled with the Windows operating system. The software can be used to retrieve email on a local network email server or from an Internet server. The email and account settings are stored on the hard drive. If you need to restore Outlook Express accounts, you can use a backup copy of these files to restore them on a new computer. Open Outlook Express.
