How Do You Restore Drivers & Utilities In Dell?
In most cases, when you buy a Dell computer, Dell includes a disk labeled “Drivers and Utilities” that can be used to reinstall the drivers for your computer in case you ever need to do so. Dell.com suggests you may need to reinstall drivers if you upgrade or reinstall your operating system, or if you connect a new device to your computer. The Dell Drivers and Utilities disk makes this a simple process if you ever need to restore the drivers that came with your computer when you purchased it. Open your CD-ROM drive and insert the Drivers and Utilities CD. Open the start menu and click “Computer” to open a Windows Explorer screen. Right-click your CD drive icon in the menu and click “Explore.” Locate the CD launch file and double-click to start it.
