How Do You Restore An HP Computer From A Recovery Partition?
Most major issues with a Hewlett-Packard computer can be resolved by restoring the computer to its original condition. Restoring a computer to its original condition resets the computer to its factory settings. All of the files and programs that were added to the computer after it was first used are erased. An HP computer has the files necessary to do a system restore stored on a separate partition on the computer’s hard disk drive. Click “Start” and type “Recovery” in the “Search” field. Select “Recovery Manager” from the search results. Click “Advanced Options,” then “System Recovery” and “Next.” Click “System Recovery” again and wait for the computer to restart. Select the “System Recovery” option and click “Next.” Select “Backup up your files first,” then click “Next.” Follow the instructions to backup your files. If you choose not do a backup, click “Recover without backing up your files” and click “Next.” Click “Next” to begin the restoration process.
