How Do You Restore A Dead Laptop Battery?
Having a dead laptop battery can be a problem. You’re on the go with your portable computer, and you may not have access to an electrical outlet. There are ways you can fix your battery without the expense of buying a new one. Remove the battery from your computer. You will re-use this battery; handle it with care. The battery may be located on the left or right side of the laptop and sometimes pops out. If you close your laptop and flip it over, you can clearly see where it sits on the computer. Usually the logo and model of the computer are clearly printed over the battery. Pry open the battery casing to reveal a set of six lithium ion batteries. These will be 3.7 volts and 1600 milliamp batteries. Note the polarity and placement of each battery; make a diagram of their positions and the wires that fit into them.
