First, make sure to deal with workplace conflict in private because public conflict affects how people react. Studies show that resolving workplace conflict is easier in private because parties involved make better and more rational decisions. If you are acting as a mediator, make sure to hear all sides of the story. People will feel like they are being treated unfairly if they don’t get their story out. There are always 2 sides to a story and the truth. Dig through people’s emotions and speech to try and find the real reason for conflict
