How Do You Reset The Trip Odometer On A 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

0

A trip odometer was standard on the 2000 Dodge Intrepid. However, some upgraded models came equipped with an overhead travel center. This device is mounted on the headliner, between the two visors. In addition to trip mileage, it records miles per gallon and distance to empty (fuel tank). Models not equipped with an overhead travel center still have the standard trip odometer mounted beneath the speedometer. Insert your key and turn it to the “On” position, or crank your engine. Press the “Step” button on your overhead travel center until “Trip” is displayed on the screen. Press and hold the button labeled “Reset” to reset the trip odometer mileage. Insert your key and turn it to “On.” Press the trip odometer stem (beside the speedometer) until “Trip” displays on the mileage screen. Press and hold the stem for two seconds.
