It’s much easier than you’d think to reset so read on. Turn the ignition key to the on position (do not start the car, though) and wait exactly three seconds. After waiting for three seconds, push the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and release 5 times within 5 seconds. Wait EXACTLY seven seconds. Push the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold for ten seconds. At this point the SES light should start flashing the error codes that are stored in the system and you can release the pedal. If you only get five slow flashes or no flashes at all, then your timing was off on one of the above steps and you should start over.
