If you’ve forgotten the parental control password, you can reset it by using a master code that is recognized by all PS2 systems. Insert the DVD into the disk tray at the top of your PS2. Press “Power” on the front of the console. Press “Select” on the PS2 controller when the PS2 requests the parental control password. Enter the master password “7444.” This code will delete your current password. Enter a new numeric password. The code must contain four digits. Reenter the numeric password when you’re prompted to verify the code. You can edit parental controls with this password.
