If you have a Craftsman ¾ HP opener, make sure that you reset it after you move in so you can be certain that you are the only one who has access to your garage. Erase the current remote codes. Set up a six-foot stepladder underneath the garage door opener. Locate the “Learn” button on the main motor assembly. Press and hold the “Learn” button for six seconds. The LED will go out when the reset is complete. Re-sync the remotes by first pressing the “Learn” button on the main unit, then press and hold the button on the remote within 30 seconds.
