The Canon i860 is a color photo printer that can print up to 23 pages per minute in black and up to 16 pages per minute in color. The printer has a 5-color ink system that uses a waste ink tank system that draws excess ink generated during the printing process to a collection tank. When the printer determines that the waste ink tank is full, it will display an error message preventing the printer from being used until the ink tank is cleaned. After cleaning the tank, you must reset the printer so it will know the tank is empty. Press the power button to turn the printer off. Press and hold the power and resume buttons. Release the resume button when the printer turns on. Keep holding the power button down. Press and release the resume button twice. Release the power button. Press the resume button to scroll through the options until “Reset Waste Ink Counter” is highlighted. Press the power button to complete the reset.
