Craftsman reprogrammable garage door openers can prevent unwanted and unauthorized entry into your garage. Reprogramming these openers is especially important when moving into a new house. Reprogramming your opener can ensure that you are the only one with the access PIN and that only your remotes can communicate with the opener. Clear the codes on your remote openers. Press the “Learn” button on the main motor console and hold it for up to six seconds, until the LED on the unit goes out. This resets all of your remotes.
