How do you report child abuse caused by a babysitter?
I was a registered childminder for years, the rules are simple, if there is someone who is looking after your child on a regular basis, they have to go through proper checks including police checks and their house properly assessed to see if it is suitable for children. If you risk your child going to unauthorised places for childcare it is seen as your fault for not going through proper checks. However, in saying that your son seems to have been hit call the police and report this incidence as it is all you can do if your sitter is not registered. It will prevent her going through any future checks to look after children. I hope your little on is ok now and all te best reporting this.
