This project will take several weeks to complete but will take less time if multiple people work on it at once. Prepare the pool for re-plastering by draining out all the pool water into a sewer system or street gutter. Use a large hose attached to the drain valve in the pool. Pump the remaining water out of the pool with a pool pump. Allow it to dry for 24 hours before continuing. Use a chisel to chip away the plaster around all edges, pumps, connectors and drains in the pool. Sweep up the dust, and throw it away.
