How do you replace the water pump on a 1991 Honda Civic?

0

The water pump is bolted to the engine block underneath the plastic covers that house the valve timing belt, camshaft and crankshaft gears, idler pulley and spring tensioner. The timing belt must be removed to access the water pump. This is not a job for a novice to attempt. Usually it is recommended to change the timing belt and water pump at the same time.
