Have your model number handy to ensure that you get the correct size assembly. Since the dryer will be open, it is a good idea to replace the stationary roller as well. Step 1 Unplug the Maytag dryer from the dryer electrical outlet. Move the dryer 2 feet away from the wall to allow the top panel to rest in a servicing position.
