How Do You Replace The Rear Light Bulb On A 2003 Nissan Maxima?

0

The taillights on the 2003 Nissan Maxima have three different types of lights that are used to keep the driver and the people driving other cars safe. The turn signal, brake and reverse light bulbs are all housed in the taillight assembly. When one of these rear light bulbs on the Maxima burns out, replace it promptly. Though many mechanical problems may require an auto mechanic, you can change these bulbs yourself. Open the trunk of the Maxima, grip the plastic grips on the taillight cover and pull out to access the taillight assembly. Remove each of the light bulb sockets from the Maxima taillight assembly by twisting the socket to the left and pulling it out. The brake light is the uppermost light socket, the turn signal is below the brake light and the reverse light is situated across from the turn signal light. Pull the light bulb out of the socket and insert the new bulb. Replace the socket by inserting it in the socket hole and turning to the right until it doesn’t turn any fart
