I’ve got a 99 Grand Prix and I’m not sure they’re the same. On mine you have to remove the interior door panel and pull back a little insulation…at least enough to get at the nuts. There are three nuts that need removed. There is a center Torx screw that you can leave alone. Unhook the power connection and it pulls off.
