The lamp in a Polaroid LCD TV is located on the lower right or left rear side of the TV. There is a plastic cover secured to the frame of the TV by 1 screw, and the lamp rests behind the plastic cover. For a replacement lamp for your specific model, contact a Polaroid TV dealer; the lamp generally needs to be replaced every few years. The lamp cost is around $150 and the process is simple. Remove the Polaroid LCD TV from the mount and place the TV onto a flat padded surface with the screen facing down. Locate the plastic cover that reads “LAMP”.
