The Pontiac Aztek was a sort of SUV/car hybrid sold between 2001 and 2005. Since the Aztek was never redesigned, the process of replacing the headlights is the same in all models. Make sure you purchase the correct replacement bulb for your Aztek; bulbs other than the ones listed below will not be compatible. Step 1 Turn the headlight switch and the engine off for safety. Pull the hood latch to open your hood. Step 2 Push the front of the headlight assembly and pull up the white tab behind the headlight. Pull the white tab up about 1/2 inch, but do not pull it out completely. The tab has a hole in the center; if you have trouble lifting it with your hand, insert a flathead screwdriver to help you pull it up.
