Honda’s entry-level motorcycle, the Rebel, is an easy-to-ride option for new motorcyclists. Featuring a low-maintenance 248cc single-cylinder motor and a lightweight chassis, the Rebel is an easy motorcycle to live with. As with any motorcycle, the Rebel will need regular maintenance and replacement of wear-and-tear items, such as the headlight bulb. Unfortunately, many new riders are intimidated by their machines and often spend a small fortune to have work done at their local Honda dealer. Changing the bulb yourself, however, is much easier than it seems and can easily save your hard-earned money. Loosen the headlight trim ring by unscrewing the pair of bolts on the lower portion of the ring, with a screwdriver. Lift the trim ring and headlight assembly upward until the ring releases from the tab on the headlight shell. Disconnect the headlight from the wiring harness.
