How to change fuel filter on E350 Ford You have to buy a special tool. It costs about $16.00 You can get the tool at a good auto parts store.The dealer will charge $100.00 believe it or not ! You put the tool around the fuel line and push towards the fitting on the end of the fuel filter and releases a clip which is not visable. It looks like you could just pull the rubber hose off of the filter BUT DONT DO IT. You need the tool. The fuel filter is on the driver side underneath the van, It is visable and looks like a cylinder (the common form.
