How do you replace the expantion valve on a 1985 Toyota Pickup?
Answer The expansion valve is locatted in the evaporator housing under the dash on the right side, all the freon in the system has to be removed and the a/c lines disconnected, the glove box removed, the evaporator housing is connected to the air duct with a few 10mm screws which must be removed, any wire connectors will have to be disconnected then the evap housing can be removed and disassembled to get to the exp valve.
