With the rise in computer threats, running an antivirus program is extremely important. If you are no longer using Norton AntiVirus and prefer the services of McAfee Antivirus, you can uninstall it and install McAfee. Close all open programs on your computer. Click the Windows “Start” button and “Control Panel.” Double-click “Add or Remove Programs” if you are using Windows XP. This launches the programs window. If you are using Windows Vista or 7, click “Programs” and click “Programs and Features” to launch the programs window. Scroll through the programs list and click the version of Norton AntiVirus you are using. Click “Remove/Uninstall” to launch the un-installation wizard.
