Replacing the mesh strips on a lawn chair is very simple. All you need to know how to do is cut and weave. There are also no special tools needed to complete this project so do not let the idea of it scare you. Step 1 Remove all the old mesh. Use a screwdriver to take out all the screws. Put them in a plastic zipper bag to keep them from getting lost. Step 2 Count out the number of mesh strips on the chair for the width and the depth. Do this for the seat and the back if you are replacing the mesh there as well. Step 3 Start with the width of the chair and measure all the way across.
