How Do You Replace Headlights For A Lexus ES 330?
The headlights on a Lexus ES330 use high intensity discharge beams to provide illumination for nighttime driving. While the xenon lamps are designed to have a long service life, they will eventually fail. When they do, you will need to replace them. Replacement xenon lamps can be purchased from most auto parts stores. You’ll need a minimum of 8000K brightness for your ES330. Open the hood and disconnect the HID connector from the back of the headlight ballast by pushing down on the retaining tab and pull it off the back of the headlight. Turn the headlight counter-clockwise and pull the headlight out of the housing assembly. Insert the new headlight into the housing assembly and turn it clockwise to lock it into the housing assembly. Reconnect the HID connector to the headlight ballast.
