How Do You Replace Door Pins/Bushings On 2005 Chevrolet Silverado?
yes you either need a door holder or some one with a good floor jack and someone to help you and the remove the old pins and slide the door outwards enough so that you can work on it to get the old pins out and the new ones back in,then slide the door back towards the vehicle and align it up and install the new pins,if you haven’t ever done this before it can be really tricky to do,and if your not really careful you can easily bust new bushings putting the pin back in,don’t hammer it in it should go in fairly easy, you,ll need help doing this though its not a one person job unless you have a tool called a door holder or installer, and they cost around 150 bucks, good luck.
