The Bissell PowerSteamer PowerBrush vacuum cleaner is a deep-cleaning vacuum designed to thoroughly steam and clean your carpet. Two belts work to ensure that the vacuum works properly. When one of these belts gets overstretched or breaks, the vacuum will not clean as effectively as it should. Fortunately, replacing the brush belt and the pump belt is a fix that can be performed by anyone. Step 1 Turn the vacuum off and unplugged it from the wall socket. Lower the handle to the floor by pressing the handle release button. Gently guide the handle down to the ground.
