How Do You Replace An HP Ink Cartridge?

0

Hewlett-Packard (HP) makes computers, laptops and printers. If you own an HP printer, you know the ink eventually will run out. If you want to continue using the printer, you will have to change the black ink cartridge and the color-ink cartridge. Make sure you purchase the correct ink. You can order replacement cartridges using the model of your printer or by using the numbers on the old ink cartridges. Make sure your printer really is out of ink by printing a test page. Sometimes the computer falsely tells you that you need to replace the ink cartridges. Turn the printer on. Open the compartment where the printer cartridges sit. This may be different due to the varying models HP has. If you are unsure about the compartment location, refer to the owner’s manual. Wait for the printer cartridges to slide out so you can remove them. Press down on the top front of the cartridge and it will come loose. You can then pull the cartridge right out. Do this for both the black ink and the color
