How Do You Replace A Turntable Stylus?
“Hey, this is DJ Hurricane here in South Beach, Florida. In this clip, we’re going to talk about how to replace a turntable stylus. And stylus is another way for saying needle. I’ve got a short needle here, you can check that out. That little peg right there is just going to insert into our cartridge. So, the first thing you’ve got to do, lock your turntable tone arm, gently unscrew that, the cartridge with the needle or stylus attached to it, pops right out. Now, all we got to do is hold there firmly, gently pull out your old stylus, and we’re going to insert the stylus tip into our cartridge, pressing firmly. Now, we’re just going to go ahead and insert our cartridge back onto our tone arm and let’s check it out. And that’s how you replace a turntable stylus.
