The Wayne-Dalton garage door uses a seal that slides into two channels on a retainer at the bottom of the garage door. When you start having rain leak under your garage door, it is time to replace the seal. Replacement seals are available at garage door centers and home improvement centers. The seal is a flat piece of rubber that will fold in a U-shape along the width of the garage door. Raise the garage door to the fully open position. This will give you access to the ends of the bottom section of the door. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into each channel on the bottom seal retainer where the seal connects. The seal has a groove that slides into the front and back channels. The channels are usually crimped by the installer to prevent the seal from working its way out of the channels.
