The pump gasket surrounds the motor hub in the bottom of the dishwasher. The motor hub is the large disc that connects to the lower spray arm. The drain pump connects to the bottom of the motor hub. Turn off the circuit breaker for the Maytag dishwasher at your home’s electrical panel box. Remove the two screws securing the toe panel to the dishwasher with a Phillips head screwdriver. (The toe panel and screws are under the bottom of the door.) Remove the toe panel to reveal the lower access panel. Remove the screws securing the lower access panel to the bottom of the dishwasher with the Phillips head screwdriver. Pull the access panel away from the dishwasher. Locate the drain pump toward the lower right side of the dishwasher. There is a water drain hose connecting to one side. Loosen the screw on
