You should service the air conditioning (A/C) system on your Jeep every 60,000 miles to ensure proper ventilation. You can remove the condenser for maintenance or replacement. If necessary, take your Jeep to a licensed repair facility to drain the refrigerant system before removing the condenser. After installation, take it back to have it recharged, including A/C compressor oil. Make a note of the air seals (air deflectors) exact location around the condenser on your Jeep. You have to install these seals in their original location to ensure correct air flow around the condenser and radiator. Remove the ground battery cable using a wrench. Detach the upper condenser air seal from the grille panel. Use a ratchet and socket to unscrew the three mounting bolts.
