Disconnect the negative battery cable from the terminal. Relieve the pressure in the fuel system while taking necessary precautions. Plug the fuel lines with golf tees to prevent spillage of gasoline. Raise the vehicle. Check to make sure that the supports are safe and secure. Remove the bolt that holds the parking brake cable bracket in place on the underbody. Take the fuel feed hose from the fuel filter.
