The U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) office issues certificates of naturalization to foreign individuals who qualify for U.S. citizenship. A replacement license can be obtained if your certificate is lost, stolen or mutilated. You also need to obtain a new certificate in the event of marriage, divorce or if the original certificate contains incorrect information.
