This eHow with photos will teach you how to remove and replace the Brake Master Cylinder of your Neon auto. With the proper tools this is a rather moderately easy task. Open hood. To get at the rear brake line on the driver’s side of the master cylinder you need to unclip the electric line on the driver’s side of the master cylinder. Just push the wire off to the side out of your way until ready to replace in position. Now to remove the black plastic supporter still above the brake line nut reach on the driver side of the master cylinder and squeeze the two plastic tips together and gently push them into the hole, on the other side of the master cylinder use your other hand to wiggle the black plaster supporter out. Place the supporter where you can find it when ready to reposition back in place.
