Park your car in a level surface and away from appliances with open flames. Disconnect the ground (black) battery cable using a wrench. Install a fuel pressure gauge to the Schrader valve on the fuel rail. Open the gauge valve to drain the fuel in the line into a proper container to relieve the fuel pressure in the system. Raise the rear passenger side wheel/tire assembly off the ground using a floor jack, and support it with a jack stand under the frame. Apply the parking brakes. Chock the front wheels.
