The only way to repair the damaged top screen is by replacing it with a new one. Acquiring a replacement top screen and swapping it for the damaged top screen is not a casual repair. It will, however, save a great deal of money and let you get back to playing games on the DS Lite. Step 1 Put a cloth on your work surface. Put the small glass dish on the cloth. Put the Nintendo DS Lite face-down on the cloth. Remove all of the screws from the bottom of the DS Lite using the NDS screwdriver. Put the screws in the glass dish.
