To repair a leaking washing machine is simple. Examine your washer to determine where the possible leak is coming from. Feel the connections with your finger to see if there is moisture on the metal at the washer and again at the water connection. Check the hose connections on the back of the washer for the tightness needed to seal the hoses. Run the washer through a few cycles if needed so you can see the possible leak. Next, check the hoses for the rubber washer inside these may be worn and causing the problem. Both ends of the hoses have the washers. The hoses can be replaced for about $20.00 at the supply store. Then check the drain hose for a possible leak or it maybe loose where it connects to the washer. Also see if there is a clog in the drain hose or think about replacing the hose.
