How Do You Repair Holes In Seams On Inflatables?

If you have tried patches but found that they do not work in the seam areas of inflatable toys and mattresses, try this easy solution instead. • Buy plumber’s goop or household goop. This stuff should work on any type of inflatable that has an irregular seam. It works great and will stop the leak. • Dab it on. A seam is a hard place to work, so you will need to work it in. • Gather up the material and place a solid plug in the hole. • Lash the the material to the plug with cord. If on a raft, or pool, you will need to keep the plug from blowing out. • Stick the plug through the material with a long nail, and lash it together on both sides of the spike. If you want to add goop to the inside of the pool, that is fine. Put some protection around the patch so that no one kicks it or trips on it.
