How Do You Repair Holes In Plastic Fenders?
A hole in the plastic fender of your car can cost a great deal of money to repair in a body shop. You can either spend the money to have it professionally repaired, leave the hole there if it isn’t too unsightly, or repair the damage yourself. Learn how easy it is to repair a hole in the plastic bumper of your car for a fraction of the cost it would take to have a body shop do the same work. Step 1 Cut two pieces of sturdy nylon mesh netting to affix to the front and back side of the hole in your plastic fender. Use 80-grit sandpaper to sand around the area of the hole to remove all rough edges. Glue the sturdy mesh netting over the hole in your fender on both the front and back sides.
