There is a way to repair the door, but it requires a little time, the right tools and some patience. Wobbly Folding Door Step 1 Remove the door from the track by lifting the panel and sliding it out. Step 2 Remove the pivot pin from the hole. You may need pliers to do this. Step 3 Get a wooden dowel (a round wooden rod), and drill the pivot hole in the closet door to the diameter of the rod. Step 4 Put glue in the hole and insert the dowel. Allow to dry. Once dry cut the dowel off level with the door. You now have a door with no pivot pin opening. Step 5 Drill a new hole to set the pivot pin. You may need to get a new pin if it is damaged. Step 6 Line up the door, lift and reset into place.
