Step 1 Soak one piece each of 800-, 1,500- and 2,500-grit sandpaper in water for about 10 minutes. Step 2 Use the 800-grit sandpaper first and gently rub the entire lens, making sure to keep the lens wet while sanding. Step 3 Use the 1,500- and 2,500-grit sandpaper in the same manor. Step 4 Dry the lenses with a clean, dry, soft cloth. Step 5 Apply UV inhibitor coating/protectant purchased from any local auto shop by allowing it to sit on a clean cloth for several minutes before wiping it gently onto the lenses.
