How Do You Repair Dodge Truck Door Glass?
If the window glass in your Dodge truck’s door is cracked or broken, it needs to be replaced. The glass itself is held in place within the door panel, so you need to remove the inner trim panel to reach it. Use caution when removing damaged glass, no matter how extensive the damage. Step 1 Lower the window all the way down. You may need to break away any parts of the glass that could break off within the door. Use caution when doing this, and use a pick-like tool. Step 2 Disconnect the negative battery cable from under the hood. Loosen the clamp for the black cable and set the cable aside so it can’t come into contact with its terminal.
