How Do You Repair Ceramic Tile Cracks?

0

Cracked tile can be a nightmare for a homeowner. If the tile pattern has been discontinued, chances are it will be difficult or impossible to find. Being able to repair a cracked tile can be a real time saver and prevent unwanted aggravation. Fortunately, repairing ceramic tile is easier than you might think. Take a piece of the tile to the paint store and have them color match the tile to a small can of waterproof paint. Mix the paint and the tile filler together, making sure that you have mixed enough to fill the crack. Using the cotton swab, gently dab the filler onto the tile, working it into the crack. Allow the filler to dry for several seconds. Take the damp cloth and wipe the excess filler from the tile. The tile should now look as good as new!
